Gents, Just a few quick thoughts here...
First I have been listening to a series of sermons by Mark Driscoll recently. He's talking through the Song of Solomon. At first I was skeptical, cause lets be honest...if you've heard Tommy Nelson do this book all of us would say you've heard it all...Right? But, it's been incredibly helpful for Abbie and I. Helping us to find places in our marriage where we need to grow, and giving us practical advice on avoiding bigger problems down the road. So, no more than a strong recommendation for that.
Second, If you haven't already watch this video . I'll let it speak for itself, but I think that this bible is the best thing out there.
With love,
Nick

I couldn't agree more, Mark Driscoll's sermon series has been a blessing to Andrea and me, I recommend it wholeheartedly. I actually really struggled with Tommy Nelson's work on the SoS because of his view that it moves chronologically. I think that interpretation makes it extremely difficult to understand the flow of the book. Plus, if it is chronological, then we have a big problem with the couple having sex in chapter one and getting married in chapter four. Anyway, Driscoll's is, in my opinion, more faithful to the text and incredibly helpful practically.
