A Man Crisis

Here is a powerful clip by Darren Patrick on the necessity for men in general, and pastors in particular, to lead their churches.

That's good stuff. I've been enjoying (if you call getting wrecked enjoyment) some Driscoll sermons of late on that very topic. This man-crisis is such a prevalent issue that it is rarely recognized and even more rarely addressed. For some very real reasons, telling your friend that he needs to grow up and stop acting like a 10 year old in a 25 year old body is grounds for no longer being a friend; which gets us into the fact that most often "friendship" as we know it is not "friendship" as God defines it. So the question lingers; as a pastor, as a youth ministry volunteer, as a Christian guy how can you most affectively watch your life for the signs of manhood as God defines them and then, how do you disciple others in the same way?

On another topic: my lifegroup is going through the book Doctrine: What Christians should believe by Driscoll and Breshears. The fist chapter is on the Trinity. As I am looking for more teaching on the Trinity, I went to DG and found this article. Thoughts?
