Recently...

Gentleman, It's so good to continually be renewed by your encouragement to know Jesus. It is so vital for me to have that in my proverbial "ear" each day because of how necessary it is that my ministry be fueled from a place of intimacy with Jesus. With this post my only request would be your prayer and praise for what God has been doing in my life and on campus. With this being Thursday of the second week of school the last two weeks have been full and busy trying to reach out to students and make connections with them. We as a staff team have been prayerfully submitting to God for our ministry and we have seen some amazing things happen. Last semester we had only 5 bible studies and they were all lead by staff members. After handing out free water ice for a week and doing spiritual surveys, we have over 260 students that want to be in bible studies! That's almost 26 studies that we need to field. God is moving here and though it's a good problem to have, we weren't quite sure how to go about handling that type of capacity. Late last week God came through and provided an answer to our "problem" with students who want to lead almost every study we need to make available! God is truly great, and continues to prove himself over and over though He doesn't have to.

It's no surprise in a climate of intense spiritual growth like this that spiritual battle would come into play. Early in last week I awoke screaming "GET OUT" and feeling like there was something pressing heavily on my chest keeping me from breathing. Wether just a dream or the true presence of a demon I can't be sure, spiritual attack, most defiantly. The next hour as Abbie and I tried to go back to sleep I experienced some of the most real terror that I have ever experienced, and I spent most of the time in prayer and reciting scripture in my head reassuring myself that God's promises were true.

It is even more real to me now that Jesus is my only source of provision for all areas of my life, because on our own we have no weapons to fight this type of attack. Please pray for Me, my wife and my staff team as we continue to take the gospel to every student on campus here at West Chester, and praise God for what he is doing with our students

Wow! That is real spiritual warfare. I will be seriously praying. Also, I would like to call you back, but when I did I got some old lady...what is your new number?
