Gents,
It is a good day when I come to check the blog and there are updates, so lets get on that! I wanna know what's going on in your lives...that's what we created this thing for right?
Today was a good day on campus. I got the joy of being able to usher one of God's sons into the Kingdom! He now rests back home, where he belongs. His name is Matt Costa. He's still learning to walk with God, but really likes to read Genesis and John in the NIV that I gave him. Please pray for him that he wouldn't be allowed to be sifted by Satan. Pray for his walk and that there would be more and more people who come around him and encourage him from the body.
Jesus is blessing the ministry here at West Chester with 11 people coming to know Jesus in the first 5 weeks. He's is active and moving! Praise HIM for that!
In the midst of all of this Abbie's grandfather is dying. Just today the doctor moved his expected time left in his earthly tent from 3-6 months to 6 weeks. He's a strong believer, and a joyful sufferer, but this is the first person that Abbie is very close to that she's losing, and the first time I've known anyone who is saved who is approaching his home-going. It's truly a bitter sweet moment that we must endure with joy and thanksgiving, but it's also a moment that's filled with sorrow and a sense of deep loss. So please lift that in prayer as well.
