Wisdom from my Friends

Recently my good buddies Nick and Kurtz have both unloaded their incredible arsenal of wisdom on me in the form of pithy statements that have stuck with me.

The other day I was talking with Kevin, who is soon going to begin looking for a new job in Philly so that he can be a part of planting a Christ-centered church with Nick and me. This is a huge step of faith on Kevin's part and I can't put words to how much I admire him for it (and many other reasons). When I told Kevin how incredible I think his faith is, he simply replied with this one liner:

"You know...when you finally get Romans 8:28, then there is really no point in worrying anymore."

Simply amazing! Kevin & kelila are willing to leave their home and jobs to follow Christ. I pray that we all would take Jesus' call to discipleship seriously and take him at his word.

Nick's wisdom is to come...

The pulpit has surpassed the master. =)

Although one could argue that that happened from day one.

That's a paraphrase folks. I said it much better than that!
