Having said that. We should all be incredibly grateful for Crusade. Crusade has gone to the hard places and done the difficult mission when the rest of us are comfortable on our couches. God used Crusade to shape my heart and my life and I am forever grateful for it and all the people that make it great. I apologize if any of my earlier comments called my gratefulness and admiration into question!

Clarification
This clarification is a long time coming. Nick and I have talked and I want to passionately clarify that I love and support Campus Crusade. I think Crusade has some blind-spots, the most prominent being its disconnection from the church and its obsession with the newest evangelical fads.

Matt, I think much the same way, even though I work for them. Thanks for being so honest and truthful. Miss you and the Kurtz-man.
So Scott,
What are your ideas for reform:)?
What, I'm being asked for reform now? =)
Since Matt pretty much hit the nail on the head on what can be CCC's blind spots. Here is what is being done: Here in Orlando, we actually have a 2 campus staff working as pastors in a church plant to figure out how we can help students transition into the real world. Imperfect yet, but I hope and pray a step in the right direction.
Second, maybe an evaluation of our theology vs. practice. A lot of talk is centered around "students hungry for spiritual things." This may be true, but how does that jive with Romans 3? Could it be most just want spirituality without being told their wrong?
Third, we should think about our practice. It can be very...businesslike. Take a survey, read a pamphlet, pray a prayer, transaction finished! Bringing the gospel into someone else's life can be hard work. Makes me think of my own conversion story.
I can easily write paragraphs and paragraphs as I have given this topic a whole lot of thought.
