What is Calvinism for? Why does the doctrine of election exist? If you were to look around the American evangelical landscape you might be tempted to respond; "Calvinism exists to split churches," or "Calvinism is for creating a prideful and combative spiritual elite."
This semester I have spent a great deal of time meditating on Ephesians 1:3-14. As a result of this time it is my prayer that people will look at my life and say the exact thing Paul says in this marvelous passage: Calvinism is for worship.
